The Rudiments Concerning Food Safety Training

The training is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrive. Students will learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, bites and stings. The Suttons Bay High School graduate is currently pursuing his masters degree in physical geography at Michigan State University. This is his third summer working in isolated areas of Alaska. He earned Wilderness First Responder certification at Northern Michigan University in 2013. He encountered only minor medical issues in the field, but understands that preparedness matters.
