The Rudiments Concerning Food Safety Training

The training is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrive. Students will learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, bites and stings. Food Safety Training Report

Students will complete 40 hours of practicum training with a local employer and may earn a national certification. The course meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. beginning Tuesday, May 9, and meets Monday-Thursday. Cost is $1,200. Scholarships are available for qualifying individuals. Medical Office Skills Training: Enrollment begins in May for individuals desiring to become a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant.
